Currently, I have one completed Sculpture which is being cast at the moment! Please click on the left hand side menu bar to see photos and information. I hope to be completing a lot more sculptures in the next year or two, which will be cast for re-sale. IN-PROGRESS SCULPTURES HORSES - Traditional scale standing (with head lowered) Gypsy Vanner stallion. I had planned to cast him myself, hence the sprues sticking up in the air! He still needs a lot of work, but I hope to finish him in 2007.
- Traditional scale Arabian mare; I am sculpting this horse after my real Arabian mare, Sian. - Traditional scale action-pose Warmblood stallion.
RIDERS TRADITIONAL SCALE - Dressage rider - Western rider (type to be decided) - Cross Country rider
SMALL TRADITIONAL SCALE These are slightly bigger than the Polo Rider, and will fit slightly bigger horses, such as - Intaada, Breyer's Flash (all with mane removed, of course)
- English Show/Hunting Rider; I used a Polo Rider to create this sculpture, but he has some alterations - his legs are now wider, to accomodate a wider barrel, his hat and boots are now standard, his lower legs has been repositioned slightly with more of a heels-down position, his arms are being repositioned to the correct English riding position, and he is having a jacket sculpted. I hope to have him complete by July, and cast shortly after, with a few painted pieces available August/September. I think I will again limit this sculpture to a 10 piece edition.
- Dressage gentleman; this is a totally different sculpture, but is very close to the size of the English Show/Hunting Rider. He has a different face, and obviously, suitable dressage atire. He is a bit heavier build also. I have also recently widen his legs to accomodate a wider barrel, so his legs look rather odd at the moment, and need re-shaping. He also is leaning back a little on the horse, due to the recent leg alteration that has not been completed. When correctly positioned his heels line through with his hip, but I do need to alter his foot position as the toes point down a little at the moment - when correctly positioned. I hope to have him finished not long after the Show/Hunter Rider, and he will also be a limited edition of 10 pieces.
MINI SCALE
- Riders for the Animal Artistry mini jumping horses series. Photo taken back in 2006, not long past the armature stage, just making up the shape ready to sort out the details, and of course the important things like a head! lol He has progressed, along with the other 2, a little from this photo, but I am waiting until I have finished the Dressage and English Show/Hunter Riders and then I will concentrate on getting these guys done - hopefully before Christmas! |
